Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

Tab Trade — The Short Version

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

His background is relevant. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.

The Software

Available: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people find it more natural once they try it.

FIX API is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should make the platform set once it is live.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

The execution is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Combine those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone at this price point offer execution like this.

Safety

Here is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. This does not guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You fund your account, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before funding.
